NBA Wrap: Calderon’s game-winner sinks Lakers

New York Knicks point guard Jose Calderon buried a three-pointer with two-tenths of a second left to lead his side to a 90-87 win over the Los Angeles Lakers.

Calderon finished with nine points in total, but Carmelo Anthony was the Knicks’ top-scorer with 26 points and 12 rebounds.

Lou Williams had 15 points for the Lakers.

The Cleveland Cavaliers sunk 18 three-pointers to crush the Los Angeles Clippers 114-90 at the Staples Center. LeBron James starred in the Cavaliers’ win as he scored 27 points on nine of 15 shooting, grabbed six rebounds and dished out five assists. J.J. Redick dropped 19 points for the Clippers.

Over at the Philips Arena, Al Horford and Paul Millsap led the Atlanta Hawks to a 104-75 win over the Indiana Pacers. Horford scored 18 points and grabbed four rebounds, while Millsap also dropped 18 points, but pulled down nine rebounds. Myles Turner was the Pacers’ top-scorer with 19 points.

Giannis Antetokounmpo recorded his fourth triple-double in 11 games to lead the Milwaukee Bucks to a 109-100 win over the Brooklyn Nets. Antetokounmpo scored 28 points on 12 of 16 shooting, grabbed 11 rebounds and dished out 14 assists. He also had four steals and two blocks. Nets center Brook Lopez finished with 20 points and three rebounds.

Meanwhile, Derrick Favors and Gordon Hayward combined for 55 points as the Utah Jazz downed the Sacramento Kings 108-99.

Favors scored 28 points and grabbed 14 rebounds, while Hayward ended the game with 27 points, four rebounds and three assists.

DeMarcus Cousins was the Kings’ best player as he dropped 31 points and pulled down 10 rebounds.
