The Phoenix Suns snapped a 17-game road losing streak following a 102-84 win over the Orlando Magic.
Alex Len starred for the Suns as he scored 31 points on 10 of 22 shooting and pulled down 15 rebounds.
Elfrid Payton recorded a double-double in the Magic’s loss, which consisted of 19 points and 11 assists.
Over at the Wells Fargo Center, the Miami Heat claimed their fourth successive win after cruising past the Philadelphia 76ers 112-102.
Dwyane Wade scored 21 points and grabbed eight rebounds, while Hassan Whiteside finished with 19 points and 19 rebounds.
Ish Smith was the Sixers’ top scorer with 26 points.
A 32-point night from Isaiah Thomas saw the Boston Celtics skirt past the New York Knicks 105-104.
Thomas, who also dished out eight assists, was well supported by Evan Turner, who dropped 21 points and pulled down eight rebounds.
Carmelo Anthony scored 30 points for the Knicks.
The Portland Trail Blazers fell to the Toronto Raptors 117-115 despite a 50-point performance from Damian Lillard.
DeMar DeRozan scored 38 points for the Raptors and made a pivotal free throw with less than a second remaining to lead his side to victory.
Lillard made 16 of 28 shots on his way to scoring 50 points and also dished out five assists.
Meanwhile, LeBron James came close to scoring a triple-double in the Cleveland Cavaliers’ 108-83 win over the Washington Wizards.
James received some excellent support from point guard Kyrie Irving, who scored 21 points and dished out eight assists.
John Wall was the Wizards’ top player as he scored 17 points, grabbed eight rebounds and dished out seven assists.
The Memphis Grizzlies secured their third straight win following a 94-88 win over the Utah Jazz.
Zach Randolph guided the Grizzlies to victory as he scored 25 points on nine of 18 shooting and pulled down eight rebounds.
Despite not being his side’s top-scorer Rudy Gobert was the Jazz’s best player as he scored 13 points and grabbed 18 rebounds.
At the BMO Harris Bradley Center, Khris Middleton scored 32 points to lead the Milwaukee Bucks to a 116-101 win over the Minnesota Timberwolves.
Giannis Antetokounmpo also played a significant role in the Bucks’ win as he dropped 27 points and dished out 12 assists.
Timberwolves center Karl-Anthony Towns finished with 21 points and seven rebounds.
Atlanta Hawks dominated against the Los Angeles Lakers winning 106-77. Kyle Korver nailed four 3-pointers for his 15 points, Kris Humphries added 14 points and eight rebounds in his Hawks debut. Jeff Teague scored 12 points, Paul Millsap 11 and Kent Bazemore 10.
For the Lakers, their top performer was Julius Randle with 16 points, 10 rebounds and two assists.
