Reigning league MVP Stephen Curry and guard Klay Thompson combined for 75 points as the Golden State Warriors rallied to beat the Miami Heat 118-112 for their 14th win in the last 15 games.
Curry finished with 42 points, seven assists and seven rebounds to lead Golden State's offensive juggernaut. Thompson scored 33 points, 15 those of those coming in succession as no other Warriors players were able to get on the scoreboard during that streak.
"That's Steph and Klay and that's what they do," said Warriors coach Steve Kerr.
"When they both do it on the same night that is when we are tough to beat."
Elsewhere, LeBron James responded from one of his worst games of the season against the Detroit Pistons to score 23 points as the Cleveland Cavaliers beat the Charlotte Hornets 114-103.
Paul George scored 27 points and rookie Myles Turner scored 24 as they guided the Indiana Pacers to a 'W' over the New York Knicks by a score line of 108-105 at Bankers Life Fieldhouse.
Tobias Harris led a balanced offense with 22 points and Andre Drummond had 18 rebounds as the Pistons dominated the Philadelphia 76ers in a 111-91 win.
The Toronto Raptors won their ninth consecutive game at Air Canada Centre in a 114-105 victory over the Minnesota Timberwolves. All-Star DeMar DeRozan scored a game-high 31 points for the Toronto outfit.
The Chicago Bulls' 109-104 win over the Washington Wizards was inspired by Justin Holiday, Tony Snell and E'Twaun Moore who stepped up to the plate in the absence of Jimmy Butler, Joakim Noah, Nikola Mirotic and Derrick Rose.
The Memphis Grizzlies' point guard Mike Conley finished with 24 points, eight assists and six rebounds as his side overcame the Los Angeles Lakers 128-119.

In a horrible game of ball, the Denver Nuggets defeated the LA Clippers 87-81. Kenneth Faried led Denver with 21 points and 11 rebounds. Gary Harris scored 17 points and Danilo Gallinari had 16 points. The Nuggets out rebounded the Clippers 57-47.
San Antonio Spurs' LaMarcus Aldridge claimed 23 points as his side trounced the Sacramento Kings 108-82.
