Rain or Shine playmaker Paul Lee is targeting his return from his recurring left knee injury sometime in March.
Lee, who briefly returned during the Philippine Cup semis before sitting out again in Game 6 due to soreness on the same knee, is not rushing though.
The former PBA Rookie of the Year is already undergoing therapy as he prepares to plunge back to practice soon.
“Mga 2 more weeks of strengthening pa, andun na lahat ‘yung tatakbo ako, jumping, mga slides at kung maganda na ‘yung kondisyon ko ready na for practice,” Lee said.
Lee missed a chunk of the season-opening conference after he sustained a partial tear on the lateral meniscus and ITB (Iliotibial Band) tendon on his left knee. He underwent Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) procedure under Dr. Edgar Eufemio, one of the top orthopedic surgeons in the country specializing in sports medicine.
