NBA Wrap: Paul leads Clippers past Spurs

Chris Paul stole the spotlight in the Los Angeles Clippers’ 105-86 demolition of the San Antonio Spurs on Thursday. 

Paul scored 28 points on nine of 18 shooting, pulled down five rebounds and dished out 12 assists.

Tony Parker dropped 14 points for the Spurs.

Washington Wizards center Marcin Gortat scored 22 points to lead his side to a 103-89 win over the Utah Jazz.

Gortat, who also grabbed 10 rebounds, was well-supported by point guard John Wall, who dropped 17 points, pulled down six rebounds and dished out 11 assists.

Gordon Hayward had 19 points for the Jazz.

Over at the Quicken Loans Arena, LeBron James nearly completed a triple-double as the Cleveland Cavaliers downed the Chicago Bulls 106-95.

James scored 25 points and finished one rebound and one assist shy of recording a triple-double.

Derrick Rose was the Bulls’ top scorer with 28 points.
