NBA Wrap: Curry silences Thunder

Stephen Curry stole the spotlight once again as he led the Golden State Warriors to a 116-108 win over the Oklahoma City Thunder. 

Curry scored 26 points on 10 of 25 shooting, dished out 10 assists, pulled down six rebounds and recorded three steals during the game.

Kevin Durant put up a valiant performance for the Thunder, scoring 40 points and grabbing 14 rebounds.

The Portland Trail Blazers cruised past the Houston Rockets 96-79 at the Toyota Center.

Damian Lillard led the Trail Blazers to victory with a double-double, which consisted of 21 points and 10 assists.

James Harden scored 33 points for the Rockets.

The Charlotte Hornets bounced back from their loss to the Miami Heat by beating the Washington Wizards 108-104.

Nicolas Batum was just one assist away from recording a triple-double as he finished with 26 points, 11 rebounds and nine assists.

John Wall had 23 points and 10 assists for the Wizards.

Paul George had a spectacular night as he led the Indiana Pacers to a 112-104 win over the Detroit Pistons.

George scored 30 points on seven of 13 shooting to go along with eight rebounds and three assists.

Reggie Jackson was the Pistons’ top scorer with 26 points.

Over at the Quicken Loans Arena, the Cleveland Cavaliers rebounded from their loss to the Boston Celtics at the buzzer by downing the New Orleans Pelicans 99-84.

Cavaliers point guard Kyrie Irving dropped 29 points, while LeBron James scored 27 points and dished out eight assists.

Norris Cole and Anthony Davis combined for 50 points for the Pelicans.

The Philadelphia 76ers secured just their eighth win of the season when they defeated the Brooklyn Nets 103-98.

Jahlil Okafor starred for the Sixers as he scored 22 points, grabbed 17 rebounds and blocked three shots.

Thaddeus Young recorded a double-double in his side’s loss, which consisted of 22 points and 10 rebounds.

Meanwhile, Chandler Parsons scored 26 points to carry the Dallas Mavericks to a 114-110 win over the Memphis Grizzlies in overtime.

Parsons was well supported by point guard Deron Williams, who dropped 22 points and dished out 11 assists.

Zach Randolph was the Grizzlies’ best player with 20 points and 14 rebounds.

Karl-Anthony Towns and Gorgui Deng combined for 50 points as the Minnesota Timberwolves triumphed over the Chicago Bulls 112-105.

Towns finished with 26 points and 17 rebounds, while Deng registered 24 points, 13 rebounds and seven assists.

Pau Gasol dropped 25 points for the Bulls.

A 26-point night from LaMarcus Aldridge saw the San Antonio Spurs edge the Los Angeles Lakers 106-102.

Aldridge received some excellent support from Kawhi Leonard, who scored 20 points and pulled down 13 rebounds.

Kobe Bryant scored 25 points for the Lakers.

Rodney Hood scored 25 points as the Utah Jazz beat the Phoenix Suns 98-89 at the Talking Stick Resort Arena.

Gordon Hayward also played a vital part in the Jazz’s win as he dropped 22 points and grabbed six rebounds.

Devin Booker led the Suns with 18 points.
