The Cleveland Indians gained the early advantage in their American League Championship Series with the Toronto Blue Jays after recording a 2-0 win in game one on Friday.
With a place in the World Series at stake, the Indians got on the board first in the best-of-seven clash courtesy of Francisco Lindor’s two-run homer.

Lindor crunched the ball into the stands in the sixth inning in the only scoring action of the evening, while Pitchers Corey Kluber and Andrew Miller restricted the Blue Jays to only seven hits on the night.
The series continues with game two on Saturday.
