South Korea’s Lee Hyun Il will take on China’s Shi Yuqi in Sunday’s final of the French Open in Paris.
Lee advanced after overcoming Hong Kong eighth seed Angus Ng Ka Long 21-17, 21-15 on Saturday.
The two players have now faced each other on two occasions, with Lee coming out on top each time.
Ng led early on in game one, but Lee drew level at 12-12 before pulling away in the latter stages to seize the initiative.
The second set saw the South Korean assert his dominance even earlier after another close start, as he ultimately strolled to victory in 39 minutes.
Shi, meanwhile, advanced after brushing South Korean Hsu Jen Hao aside 21-7, 21-15.
The women’s draw, meanwhile, will see China’s He Binjiao take on American Beiwan Zhang for the title after two upset results in the semi-finals.
He battled hard to overcome South Korean fifth seed Sung Ji Hyun 27-25, 21-17, while Zhang accounted for seventh seed Sun Yu of China with a 21-19, 21-15 victory.
