The Malaysian number one, who is the fourth seed in Vladivostok this week, had little trouble in disposing of the Israeli eighth seed, winning 21-17 21-9 in 48 minutes.
Zulfadli's countryman Wei Feng Chong was not quite as fortunate, though, going down in straight games to third seed Ajay Jayaram.
The fifth seed from Malaysia was unable to hit his straps against the Indian shuttler at any point of the match and was easily beaten 21-15 21-13.
In Saturday's semi-final, Zulfadli will face unseeded Estonian Raul Must, who continued his tremendous run of results this week by beating 11th-seeded Russian Vladimir Malkov.
In the Round of 16, Must trumped French second seed Brice Leverdez and he followed up that surprising result with a 21-12 16-21 21-11 victory over Malkov on Friday.
In the other semi-final, Jayaram will take on top seed in Russia this week, Tommy Sugiarto.
The 27-year-old Indonesian star made short work of his opponent on the day – Spanish sixth seed Pablo Abian – winning 21-17 21-9.
