Lee Chong Wei will take on Jan O Jorgensen in the final of the Indonesia Open after they came through their respective semi-finals unscathed.
Second seed Chong Wei had little trouble in booking his place in Sunday’s final when he beat local shuttler Ihsan Maulana Mustofa inside 39 minutes.
Jorgensen, though, had a much harder match against Chinese ace Tian Houwei, eventually beating the sixth seed 21-14, 18-21, 21-17 in 69 minutes.
The Danish fifth seed took control of the opening game when the scores reached 14-all, winning the next seven points to take a one-game lead over his opponent.
The second game was another eagerly contested affair, with no player leading by more than three points at any stage, although Houwei just had the beating of Jorgensen this time around.
Jorgensen took control of the third game after the first couple of points, and even though Houwei was able to level at 13-all, the Dane seemed to have the match under control throughout and sped away from the Chinese in the latter parts of the game.
