Malaysian shuttler Chong Wei Feng has admitted that he has a lot of work to do if he is to achieve his goal of breaking into the top 20 by the end of the year.
Wei Feng climbed up to 34th on the standings after making it to the semi-finals of the Vietnam Open last week, but he is far from satisifed with his current position.
The 28-year-old, who has surpassed independent Malaysian shuttler Zulfadli Zulkiffli on the rankings, is determined take one step closer to his target during the Thailand Open Grand Prix Gold in Bangkok, which will take place from September 29 to October 4.
"It is a positive move and a good improvement, but it is still far from my top-20 target," he told The Star. "I am ranked higher than Zulfadli now, but that is not enough for me. I want to break into the top 20 by the end of the year."
