Lee Chong Wei's resurgence at the French Open continued on Friday as he beat Japan's Sho Sasaki in straight games to qualify for the semi-finals.
The unseeded Shosaki proved no match for the Malaysian shuttler, going down 21-9 21-12 in 36 minutes.
Chong Wei moves on to face fellow unseeded player Wang Zhengming of China for a place in Sunday's final.
Wang battled past England's Rajiv Ouseph 21-17 12-21 21-8.
The other semi-final will be contested between second seed Jan O Jorgensen of Denmark and Chinese Taipei's Chou Tien Chen.
Jorgensen dispatched China's Tian Houwei 21-18 21-19, while Chou claimed a hard-fought 21-13 15-21 21-10 victory over Hong Kong's Ng Ka Long Angus.
