Lee Chong Wei defeated Chou Tuen Chen in the final of the men's singles at the Yonex French Open on Sunday.
The Malaysian superstar needed 47 minutes to defeat Tuen Chen 21-13, 21-18 on the courts of the Federation Francaise de Badminton in Paris, France.
The were locked at five-all in the opening game before a great run of points from Chong Wei saw him take the lead, and advantage he would never relinquish.
Chong Wei was in total control of the second game, with 12 consecutive points seeing him take a 12-1 lead. However, Tuen Chen battled back to make it 19-18 before Chong Wei held his nerve at the end to secure his 58th title.
