Angus Ng Ka Long defeated Vincent Wong Wing Ki in the final of the men's singles to win the Bitburger Open crown in Germany on Sunday.
The all-Hong Kong final saw the 13th seed overcome the 12th seed 21-12, 21-13 in just 31 minutes on the courts of the Saarlandhalle Saarbrucken.
It was Ki who started off stronger of the two, heading out to an 8-4 lead. However, Long would enjoy a run of eight consecutive points to eventually take a one game lead.
The second game was a tighter affair, with Long only turning on the class at the latter end of the game as he took the title comfortably.
