In much-anticipated matchup, RC Cola-Army dominates F2 Logistics

What was expected to be a long battle turned out to be a walk in the park as RC Cola-Army swept F2 Logistics, 25-22, 25-12, 25-19, in the PSL Invitational at the Malolos Sports and Convention Center.

With head coach Kung Fu Reyes tending to his UAAP duties, the Lady Troopers still played in the right direction to take the leadership with a 2-0 record.

“So far naman na-apply namin yung ginawa namin nung practice kahapon. Nag-scrimmage kami kung pano namin kailangan paghandaan yung F2,” said top assistant Rico de Guzman.

With the young ones doing the damage for Army so far, De Guzman admits that they are really a big help to his team.

“Masaya ako dahil ganun tinatakbo ng team namin, malaki natutulong nila. Sila yung pumapalit dun sa mga beterano namin,” he said.

— By Joyce Palad
