NBA: Bulls beat Raptors, win fourth-straight

The Chicago Bulls claimed their fourth successive victory as they edged the Toronto Raptors 94-92 at Air Canada Centre.

Carlos Boozer top scored with 20 points and eight total rebounds for the Bulls, while Kirk Hinrich scored 19, and Jimmy Butler added 16 points, six rebounds and six assists to cement their side's position of second in the Eastern Conference Central Division.

The San Antonio Spurs made it three games unbeaten as they held onto their lead at the top of the Western Conference Southwest Division with a 111-109 victory over the Portland Trail Blazers at Moda Center.

Patty Mills came off the bench to score 29 points for the Spurs, while Damian Lillard impressed for Portland with 31 points and six assists.

Kyrie Irving collected 22 points, seven rebounds and seven assists as the Cleveland Cavaliers overcame the Orlando Magic 101-93, while the Houston Rockets knocked out their eighth win on the bounce with a score of 134-108 over the Los Angeles Lakers.

James Harden was the top scorer for the Rockets with 29 points, 11 assists and six total rebounds.

The Charlotte Bobcats beat the Detroit Pistons 116-98 and the Washington Wizards claimed a 114-97 win over the Atlanta Hawks to keep the heat on Miami at the top of the Eastern Conference Southeast division.

Elsewhere, the New Orleans Pelicans suffered a 98-91 defeat against the New York Knicks, the Phoenix Suns moved past the Boston Celtics 100-94, the Brooklyn Nets beat the Utah Jazz 105-99 and the Golden State Warriors saw off the Sacramento Kings 101-92.
