NBA: Clippers beat Warriors in shoot-out

The Los Angeles Clippers enjoyed a 126-115 win over the Golden State Warriors in a high-scoring Thursday night clash in the NBA.

The Pacific Division rivals each have one win from their first two games after Chris Paul's 42 points and 15 assists powered the Clippers to victory.

Stephen Curry led Golden State with 38 points but they were always chasing the game after falling 36-26 behind following the first quarter.

The Chicago Bulls and the New York Knicks are also both at 1-1 after Chicago narrowly won their meeting at United Center 82-81.

Derrick Rose hit the winning shot 5.7 seconds from time to finish with 18 points while Knicks top-scorer Carmelo Anthony missed a long shot on the buzzer.
