NBA: Clippers suffer Thunder hammering
Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook led the Oklahoma City Thunder to a resounding 109-97 win over the Los Angeles Clippers in the pick of Tuesday night's NBA games.
The North-West and Pacific Division leaders went head to head at the Staples Center and it was the visitors who prevailed as Durant scored 32 points and Westbrook 26.
Blake Griffin racked up 31 points and 11 rebounds for the Clippers, who were without star guard Chris Paul.
Ersan Ilyasova played a starring role with 27 points and 16 rebounds as the Milwaukee Bucks beat the Philadelphia 76ers 110-102 to move within three games of Central Division leaders the Indiana Pacers.
Divisional rivals the Detroit Pistons and Cleveland Cavaliers were also victorious, Kyrie Irving producing an astonishing performance for the latter.
The point guard poured in 40 points, 11 of which came in the final two and a half minutes, as the Cavs won 95-90 against the Boston Celtics, for whom Rajon Rondo's double-double of 17 points and 13 rebounds was in vain.
Detroit comfortably beat the Orlando Magic 105-90 with 18 points from Brandon Knight.
