Hart issues warning to Chelsea

Hart says City have already put last Sunday’s 2-0 defeat to Arsenal at the Etihad Stadium behind them??as they focus on closing the gap with the league leaders.

The top two sides meet in what is being billed as a ‘title decider’ at Stamford Bridge on January 31, with City??knowing defeat will put them eight points behind the Londoners.

City are currently on a mid-season trip to Abu Dhabi, where they will face German side Hamburg in a friendly??before returning to take on Middlesbrough in the fourth round of the FA Cup.??

Hart told Sports News HQ: “We are confident, sometimes stuff happens and you lose games.??It wasn’t down to a lack of effort or lack of ability – a penalty and a set-piece has cost us.

“We have performed well for the majority of the season, but sometimes it happens and we will??bounce back.

“There is a long way to go, we have got Middlesbrough in the FA Cup which we are looking to win.??It was a great feeling when we won it a couple of years ago.

“We go to Chelsea to put right what happened on Sunday, we are together, we are a great group??and we enjoy each other’s company – it helps that there is a lot of quality in the dressing room.

“It’s the Premier League, it’s happened to us many times when we have won it, but it’s??happened one too many times this season but it’s not lost.”

City striker Sergio Aguero has also welcomed new signing Wilfried Bony to the club.

He said: “As players we are always very happy when we get a new player. The idea is always done that this is??in the spirit of improving the overall performance of the team especially since he has been??playing in the UK.??

“He should be able to adapt quickly to the pressure of the league.??He should be a very big help to the team performance, basically we are very thankful for this??upgrade for the team.” ?? ?? ??
