Anders Lee netted twice for the New York Islanders in their 3-2 win over the Toronto Maple Leafs at Nassau Coliseum, while two second period goals set up the Anaheim Ducks for their 2-1 success against the Carolina Hurricanes at PNC Arena.

Pittsburgh allowed four third-period goals but defeated the Ottawa Senators 5-4 in a shoot-out at Canadian Tire Centre. Sidney Crosby scored twice for the Penguins in regulation.
