Everton, who missed out on a quarter-final place in the Europa League after losing to Dynamo Kiev, have taken maximum points for their last three matches, the first time this season they have achieved that feat.
And with only domestic matters to concentrate on, Scotland striker Naismith is convinced the club can build on their recent resurgent form.
“The confidence is kind of growing every week as we???ve won,??? he told Sky Sports News HQ.
???Obviously we???re disappointed we???re not going to Europe but on the other hand that???s given us a week between games to focus on how we???re going to go into the games and I think it???s shown in our performances.
“They have been energetic and we???ve been on the front foot for most of the last three games.??
“You want to be at the top chasing the European competitions first of all, and it is disappointing not to be doing that, but I think our aim now is to get into the top half of the league and push on from there.
???We???ve had a bit of a reality check on that (the level of European football) this season and to get the club to the next level that???s what you???ve got to expect and you???ve got to be able to deliver that on the day.
?????Now we???ve just got to aim for the top half of the table and then look on beyond that.???
