It appears that World Player of the Year, Ronaldo, has thrown his weight behind the under fire coach saying he hoped that they would work together again next season.
"Great coach and amazing person. Hope we work together next season," Ronaldo posted on his official Twitter account.
On Saturday, Ancelotti confirmed that he would be having talks with the club to decide whether he was staying on or not.
Madrid have failed to win any major trophy this season, finishing second on the La Liga table behind Barcelona and getting knocked out of the Uefa Champions League by Juventus.
