Western Force captain Matt Hodgson says the departure of head coach Michael Foley has made his future at the club uncertain.
Foley was laid off by the Force after a poor record in Super Rugby, which saw the franchise sink to the bottom of the Australian conference.
Hodgson was upset to see the coach go, because had Foley retained his position as coach Hodgson's contract would have definitely been extended. But now the 34 year old's future at the club is in doubt.
"I've told them I want to play on. But it's all up in the air. It's undecided at the moment. I'm still waiting to hear back from the Force," Hodgson Sky Sports.
"I want to play football next year. Hopefully it's at the Force. I don't want to retire yet. I'll try to play football wherever."
