Coyotes edge out Ducks in overtime

Mikkel Boedker's overtime goal gave the Arizona Coyotes a 4-3 win over the Anaheim Ducks, who saw their four-game winning streak come to an end.

Max Domi scored twice for the Coyotes, who had to come from 2-0 down after Chris Stewart and Ryan Kesler scored for the Ducks in the first period.

Anthony Duclair pulled one back for Arizona before Domi took over, and though Sami Vatanen's goal forced overtime, Boedker broke away to score the winner.

Domi was full of praise for his team-mates who showed great determination to kill a 5-on-3 Anaheim power play that lasted for 53 seconds.

That penalty kill was outstanding,” forward Max Domi said.

“Those guys were all sacrificing their body. It was a great kill. Once we got that we were pretty confident… When you work hard, and you deserve to win, you end up winning usually. It was a great team effort.”
