Holloway wants Mcgregor to sort out his life

UFC featherweight champion Max Holloway has offered superstar Conor McGregor some on point advice.

McGregor has been making the headlines for all the wrong reasons of late, with his latest venture in the octagon being an assault on a Bellator referee. This, coupled with rumours than he is on the wrong side of the Irish mob after a bar brawl and no fight date set make his UFC future murky at best.

But Holloway is hoping the enigmatic Irishman can get this life in order and fight in the UFC once again.

“I’d tell him go figure your life out, you know,” the 26-year-old told TMZ

“With what’s going on, the media right now is crazy. You’re hearing crazy things about the dude, and I hope it’s not true. I hope we don’t see another guy fall because of [expletive] things he chooses to do outside the octagon. And even [inside]. I wish nothing but the best to him.”

Holloway, who knocked out Jose Aldo to defend the featherweight belt at UFC 218, is on a 12-win streak since his loss to McGregor in 2013. Of course, the former featherweight champion reminded him of this fact with a jab on social media…

However, Holloway was not fazed by McGregor’s games.

“Conor can talk his talk,” added the Hawaii native.

“He can hold onto that fight that happened years ago when we was little kids, you know, fighting on an undercard. And he can live with it, he can run with it. Great for him.”
