Nick Kyrgios has been fined US$3360 following a code violation warning for unsportsmanlike conduct during his first round win over Radek Stepanek at Wimbledon on Tuesday.
The Australian released a verbal barrage of swear words during following his loss in the third set tiebreaker on the grass courts of London.
Chair umpire Mohamed Lahyani issued Kyrgios a warning, which prompted a heated exchange between the two. Later, he admitted to his wrongdoing and accepted his punishment.
Kyrgios is already skating on thin ice with the ATP, as he his coming off a six month suspended fine following a sledging incident involving Stan Wawrinka 2015.
