The 2013 ASEAN Basketball League (ABL) season has reached its climax with the only two teams left to fight for the Championship.

Chris Banchero.

The San Miguel Beermen were crowned the AirAsia 2013 ASEAN Basketball League Champions following their 70-55 win over the Indonesia Warriors.

The Beermen have been very vocal about their intentions from the start and head coach Leo Austria dedicated the win to his predecessor, the late Bobby Parks.

Asi Taulava led the champions with 19 points. Chris Banchero's followed with 10 points, although that only told the smallest part of the role that he has played in the Beermen squad throughout the finals series.

Game 3: Indonesia Warriors 55-70 San Miguel Beermen

Leading their best-of-five series 2-0, the Beermen tasted Championship success on Wednesday with a 70-55 win in Indonesia in Game 3 on the back of Chris Banchero's all-action performance including 10 points, four assists, three rebounds, and two steals.

Banchero was later named Finals MVP although Asi Taulava - the Beermen's talisman in the series opener - must have run the Fil-Italian guard very close for the honour.
