Only one day's rest for the Warriors after securing the number two seed on Wednesday night.
But Warriors' head coach Todd Purves is confident that his team will be ready to take on the Slingers for this week's ABL Friday Basketball on FOX Sports
"The players will be fine. We are prepared for this end of the season. They try to take care of their bodies for the long run, hoping we'll be playing our best basketball at the end of the season," he said.
"We'll be ready to play on Friday and looking forward to a spirited game against the Slingers."
Indonesia snapped their two-game skid on Wednesday night after defeating the Saigon Heat 82-68. Chris Daniels led the Warriors with 17 points and 11 rebounds while Stanley Pringle added 13 points. John Smith chipped in 12 points for the Warriors who improved to 14-6.
In the win against Saigon, the Warriors started the game with high energy and were very aggresive on defense. As a result, the Heat committed three quick turnovers and Indonesia went up 19-8 midway through the first quarter.
"We have made it our mission. In our loss to the San Miguel Beermen, we started off too soft. We dug ourselves out of a hole. So we wanted to make sure that in this game we came out very aggressive from the start," said Daniels after the game.
Meanwhile, the JobStreet.com Singapore Slingers are still in a very tight battle with the Sports Rev Thailand Slammers for the final playoffs spot. Singapore has two games left and need to win at least one game to still be in the running.
The Slingers had a flat start in their last game, allowing the Westports Malaysia Dragons to lead by as much as 26 points before fighting back to lose 82-72.
Phillip Morrison scored 20 points and Lim Sheng Yu contributed a career-high 19 points. Rashad Jones-Jennings had a big game with 16 points and 20 rebounds.
Jennings hopes his team will start off the game better as their playoffs life is on the line. "We got the playoffs on the line. You can't come out flat, we can't afford to come out flat," Jennings said.
"I am not even worried about Thailand. I am worried about Indonesia. We got to win both of those games."
