Rugby: Australia hit by McCabe blow
Australia's Pat McCabe will miss at least the first month of the inaugural Rugby Championship after being diagnosed with a stress fracture to his lower left leg.
The injury was confirmed by scans in Sydney today and will see McCabe sidelined for up to six weeks, the Wallabies announced on their website.
The 24-year-old will miss two Tests against New Zealand, as well as matches against South Africa and Argentina.
There are no immediate plans to replace McCabe in Australia's training squad.
