Blake was crowned world champion last month after he stormed to victory in Daegu in a race that saw Olympic title-holder Usain Bolt disqualified for a false start.
Bolt's absence overshadowed the race but Blake underlined the quality that carried him to the title tonight when he accelerated away from fellow Jamaican Asafa Powell at the halfway stage.
Powell, who withdrew from Daegu with injury, was second in 9.95secs with Walter Dix third in 10.04.
Dayron Robles put new world champion Jason Richardson in his place in the 110m hurdles.
Robles led from start to finish, crossing the line in 13.02, 0.08 ahead with David Oliver in third.
Robles was disqualified after winning the world title with Richardson instead crowned champion.
Yelena Isinbayeva was third in the pole vault after clearing 4.62, days after finishing sixth in South Korea. Jennifer Suhr won with 4.72.
Caster Semenya was fifth in the 800m won by a fast-finishing Mariya Savinova in 1:58.27.
