Undefeated Bradley wrested the title off Pacquiao via a controversial split decision on June 9 2012, with two judges scoring the fight 115-113 in his favour and a third by the same score for the Filipino in a bout most believed the latter won easily.
The WBO then commissioned a panel of five international judges to view the fight, with all five scoring in favour of Pacquiao - including one result of 118-110 in his favour.
However, a rematch did not initially emerge with Bradley going on to successfully defend the belt against Ruslan Provodnikov and Juan Manuel Marquez while Pacquiao suffered a defeat to Marquez in his next fight before overcoming Brandon Rios in November last year.
The eagerly anticipated encounter is now set for April with Top Rank confirming that the fight will take place at the MGM Grand.
"Bob Arum and Top Rank's Todd duBoef and Michael Koncz of MP Promotions announced today that it reached an agreement for Tim Bradley to defend his welterweight championship of the World Boxing Organisation (WBO) against the eight-time world champion Manny Pacquiao," read a statement on www.toprank.com.
"The card is promoted by Top Rank in association with MP Promotions and Tecate.
"Pacquiao-Bradley 2 is on Saturday April 12 and will be held at the Arena at the MGM Grand Hotel in Las Vegas."
