Marking the second time SingTel have partnered with Royal Selangor, the winner's trophy was unveiled on Thursday in Singapore.
The trophy features slim panels that represent the different nationalities of the drivers and the skyscrapers set along the race track.
The panels are in several finishes including satin, glossy black and brilliant and arranged sporadically to create a sense of movement akin to the speed of the race.
Supporting the structure is a matte black finish wood and pewter base, with a round pewter base wrapped with a cross-shaped wood piece to resemble a steering wheel.
The trophy stands at 587mm and will be lifted by the first, second, third place and construction winners of the race.
Replicas of the trophy will be placed at the SingTel Roadshow at Tampines Mall from 12-18 September as well as Royal Selangor stores at Clarke Quay from 1 September and Marina Bay Sands from 2 September for Formula One fans to have a closer look.
