Sauber to release new car in February

Sauber's challenger for the 2013 Formula One season will be unveiled on February 2.

Formula 1 News: Sergio Perez, Sauber

The Swiss team will take the covers off the new C32 at their Hinwil base, three days prior to the opening pre-season test at Jerez in Spain.

Sauber scored four podium finishes in a largely successful 2012 campaign, but have an overhauled driver line-up for the coming year after losing Sergio Perez to McLaren and releasing Kamui Kobayashi.

The team will instead run with former Williams and Force India driver Nico Hulkenberg alongside rookie Mexican Esteban Gutierrez, who has spent the last two seasons as test and reserve driver.

Sauber are the third team to confirm the launch date of their 2013 car, following on from McLaren (January 31) and Force India (February 1).
