Hamilton launches helmet design competition

Lewis Hamilton will run an all-new helmet design in 2017 and has launched a competition giving fans the chance to create the livery.

Last season Hamilton raced a predominantly white helmet baring the words "still I rise" on the back.

This season the triple World Champion is wanting a new look.

"I'm on the lookout for a dope new layout that evolves my current theme and features the candy apple red in my existing design," he wrote on Instagram.

"I'll be picking the design that I feel is the most stylish, inspiring, iconic and eye-catching."

Entry to the competition closes on 12:00 GMT on February 6 and full details can be found here.
