Turkish Super Lig
Besiktas threw away the chance to move two points clear at the Turkish Super Lig summit on Friday evening as they conceded two goals in the final eight minutes to draw 2-2 at home to Eskisehirspor.
Filip Holosko's early strike and a Hugo Almeida effort 20 minutes into the second half looked to have set the hosts on course for a victory which would have lifted them ahead of Galatasaray and Antalyaspor at the top.
But Necati Ates gave the fifth-placed visitors hope by halving the deficit with an 83rd-minute penalty and then substitute Atdhe Nuhiu snatched a dramatic equaliser at the death.
Elsewhere, Elazigspor climbed to 15th, moving three points clear of their now second-bottom opponents thanks to a 1-0 win over Mersin Idmanyurdu. Sinan Kaloglu grabbed the game's only goal midway through the second half.
Russian Premier League
Krasnodar climbed to ninth place in the Russian Premier League table as Carneiro Wanderson scored twice in a 3-2 win at Rostov.
Wanderson put Krasnodar on the path to victory when he opened the scoring in the 24th minute but Dmitri Poloz replied for the hosts two minutes later.
Eugeni Shipitsyn struck seven minutes before the break to give the visitors the lead once again before Wanderson completed his brace in the 49th minute.
Rostov substitute Dmitri Kirichenko set up a tense finale with his 56th-minute strike but Krasnodar held on to register a first away win of the season.
Relegation-threatened Brondby missed the chance to draw level on points with Midtjylland as Eyjolfur Hedinsson earned Sonderjyske a 2-2 draw in Haderslev.
Veteran winger Dennis Rommedahl got the ball rolling after just six minutes but Conor O'Brien equalised for the hosts 10 minutes before the break.
Quincy Antipas restored Brondby's lead in the 64th minute, only for Hedinsson to earn Sonderjyske a point with his 71st-minute strike, leaving the 10-time Danish Superliga champions two points adrift of safety.
Christian Dorda's own goal earned FC Utrecht a 1-1 draw at Heracles in the Eredivisie on Friday.
Lerin Duarte put Heracles in front after 19 minutes, but Dorda put through his own net eight minutes later as the match ended all square.
The result meant Utrecht remained in sixth place and left Heracles 10th.
Portuguese Primeira Liga
Estoril moved up to fifth in the Portuguese Liga on Friday evening with a convincing 3-0 home win over Vitoria Setubal.
Luis Leal set the hosts on their way in the 28th minute and further goals in the second half from Evandro Goebel and Jefferson put the result beyond doubt.
The win lifted Estoril into a Europa League berth, 11 points behind pace-setters Porto and Benfica, while Vitoria remained 10th.
French Ligue 1
Toulouse moved a point ahead of Nice in eighth after a goalless draw with Bastia in Ligue 1.
Before the match, Toulouse coach Alain Casanova stated his belief that his team do not impose their game enough on their opponents and on Friday they failed to make the breakthrough.
Bastia also came close to scoring but a draw did little for either side with the rest of the teams yet to play this weekend.
Belgian Jupiler League
Standard Liege climbed to fourth in the Belgian Jupiler Pro League on Friday evening thanks to a 6-1 thrashing of 10-man Charleroi.
The visitors' evening got off to the worst possible start when Elvedin Dzinic was dismissed for a foul on Michy Batshuayi within five minutes. Yoni Buyens converted the resulting penalty and William Vainqueur struck barely 60 seconds later to double the hosts' advantage.
The win was wrapped up before half-time when Maor Bar Buzaglo, Reginal Goreux and Danijel Milicevic (own goal) added their names to the scoresheet.
Giuseppe Rossini pulled a goal back for the fourth-bottom Charleroi on the hour mark, but Imoh Ezekiel restored Standard's five-goal cushion five minutes later.
