Papadopoulos is currently regarded as one of the most-talented youngsters in European football and put in a couple of impressive displays for Greece at Euro 2012 in the summer.
The 20-year-old has also firmly established himself as one of Schalke's key players and, resultantly, has gained plenty of admirers across the continent.
However, his agent Paul Koutsoliakos insists recent rumours linking Papadopoulos with a move to San Siro are completely unfounded.
"The rumours are a strange one to me," he told Calciomercato.com. "He has only just signed until 2016 at Schalke.
"Maybe the clubs have contacted each other directly, but all I can say is that at the time of signing, Schalke and the player were completely satisfied.
"The boy is happy at the club and his family are entirely settled in Gelsenkirchen."
Koutsoliakos did however hint that a player of his client's potential would probably be keen on seeking a new challenge in the future once he had achieved all he can in the Bundesliga.
"In terms of his age, Kyriakos is one of the best defenders in the world, so it is obvious that other clubs may be interested," he added. "But we are not thinking of a move.
"Maybe one day we will go and experience another league, but not now."
Papadopoulos made his professional debut as a 15-year-old with Olympiacos and made 13 appearances for the Greek giants in total, before moving to Schalke at the start of the 2010/11 season.
