Global opened the scoring after just six minutes when Alex Obiang fired them ahead, but it took them until the 83rd minute to double their lead when star striker Izzeldin Elhabbib added a second.
Philippines international James Younghusband pulled one back for the Sparks three minutes later but it proved to be too little too late for Kim Chul-su's men as their opponents held on to keep their cup hopes alive.
Next up for Global in next Monday's final will be Stallion, who advanced from their last-four clash with Green Archers United after coming from behind to record a 3-1 extra-time victory.
Following a goalless first half, it was the Archers who took the lead in the 55th minute through a cracking effort from captain Christian Pasilan, but opposition skipper Reuben Doctora responded with a goal of his own 15 minutes later.
With neither side able to find a winner in the remainder of the 90 minutes, the game then went into extra time, where Stallion edged ahead in the 112th minute thanks to a strike from South Korean striker Lee Joo-young, before Doctora added his second just before the final whistle to wrap up the win.
