It was Bae's worst round of the week so far after having opened with a 69 and a 67, but was good enough to leave him eight under overall and give him the edge over Hiroyuki Fujita (68) and Hyung-Sung Kim (71).

Tadahiro Takayama (70) and Tetsuji Hiratsuka (71) were two shots off the pace, with Akinori Tani - the halfway co-leader alongside Bae - a further shot adrift. He signed for a four-over-par 76 today and was joint sixth alongside Min-Gyu Cho (72) and Norio Shinozaki (73).
