Despite missing 10 consecutive cuts in Asia and Europe after winning the Avantha Masters on home soil earlier this year, the current Asian Tour Order of Merit leader believes that it is only a matter of time before he hits top form again.

"I don't deny that my form has been down for the past few months. However, I've been spending a lot of time working on my game back home and I feel that it's getting better now," said Chowrasia.

While the earnings at the WGC-HSBC Champions do not count towards the Asian Tour Order of Merit this week, Chowrasia is determined to return to his winning ways as they will provide him with the confidence to cement his place at the summit.

"My goal for the year is to finish on top of the Asian Tour Order of Merit so that I can get to play in all the Asian Tour events. I'm aware of the pressure as many players will be aiming to overtake me. But that's alright. I'll just play my own game and hopefully it'll be good enough to seal top spot," said the Indian.

Meanwhile Bangladesh's Siddikur is delighted to be teeing off alongside the world's best players after narrowly missing out on a coveted place last year.

"I'm very happy to be playing in this tournament because I was the first reserve last year. This is my first time playing here and I'm really excited," said Siddikur who wrote a slice of history when he became the first Bangladeshi to win an Asian Tour title in Brunei last year.

With four top-10s finishes on the Asian Tour along with a win at the Grameenphone Bangladesh Masters on the Asian Development Tour, Siddikur could potentially create an upset against a star-studded field that includes England's Lee Westwood and Northern Ireland's Rory McIlroy who are ranked the world's number two and three respectively.

"My goal each week is to try and achieve a better result than my last event. I swinging the ball well and overall I'm very happy with my form. I've been doing well so I've got no complaints," said the Bangladeshi.
