DPMM moved up to second on the table and are now seven points behind leaders Tampines Rovers after an impressive 3-0 win over Tanjong Pagar United at the Queenstown Stadium.

Following a goalless first half, Shahrazen Said opened the scoring in the 66th minute when his 35-yard freekick sailed all the way into the back of the net, before Ivan Jerkovic doubled their lead 13 minutes later when he latched onto a through-ball by Patrick da Silva and slotted past Shamsudin Hisham.

Three minutes later, Jerkovic grabbed another to cap off an excellent night at the office for Vjeran Simunic's charges.

Over at the Bedok Stadium, Geylang handed Courts Young Lions their fifth league defeat in a row after cruising to a 2-0 victory.

Shah Hirul fired the Eagles ahead in the 20th minute with a clinical finish, before Jozef Kaplan made sure of the three points four minutes from time when he cut in from the left and fired home.
