Winger Masatake Sato's 75th-minute strike was enough to help the Great Eastern-YEO's S.League outfit see off their Laotian opposition and book a spot in the last eight of the competition, where they will now face Tampines Rovers.
Yotha's elimination also means Filipino side Loyola Meralco Sparks and Myanmar National League representatives Kanbawza FC are the only remaining foreign teams left in the competition, after the opening round exits of DPMM FC, Harimau Muda B and Phnom Penh Crown.
Elsewhere in the quarterfinals, all eyes will be on the Uniformed Derby between SAFFC and Home United, while Gombak United take on Hougang United in the final last-eight clash.
