The Swedish international, who moved to Paris Saint-Germain last summer, emerged as the top scorer of Ligue 1 in his maiden campaign and fired the French side to the quarter-finals of the Champions League.
However, that has not stopped PSG from being linked to Cavani in this transfer window, with the Napoli forward widely expected to complete a 60 million Euro move in the near future.
Speaking to Tutto Napoli, De Laurentiis disclosed that Ibrahimovic has no intentions of sharing the PSG limelight with another star striker.
"Ibrahimovic will not play with Cavani, he has been promised a transfer," he stated.
Despite Napoli's initial hopes of holding on to Cavani, De Laurentiis admitted that the Uruguayan has had his head turned by the money on offer from other clubs.
"Cavani is attached only to the money," he said.
