The 28-year-old, who was a free agent after deciding not to renew his contract with boyhood club Athletic Bilbao, completed his move to Juve on Monday after passing a medical and signing a four-year deal.
Aware that he was joining a team that have now established themselves as the best in Italy for the past two season, Llorente is hoping to help them take the next step by claiming European glory.
"Juventus are the strongest team in Italy and one of the best in Europe as well," he told Corriere dello Sport.
"The club's project is spectacular; Juventus want to in the Champions League. That's one of the reasons why I came here.
"I never thought that I would leave Athletic but things have turned out differently. I cannot wait to start this new adventure."
Llorente was also part of the Spain squad that won the 2010 FIFA World Cup and Euro 2012.
