The Rossoneri kept their hunt for Champions League football next season back on track after the win over Catania which puts them three points ahead of Fiorentina in third place of the Serie A.
It far from a straightforward result with Catania threatening to upset the odds by taking a 2-1 lead at one point, and Balotelli praised his side for showing the spirit to grab the win.
"For now I am scoring goals, as I did well and was fortunate, so I hope to score as many as possible," Balotelli told Sky Sport Italia.
"We knew that we had to win this game. We conceded two stupid goals, but reacted as only a great team can.
"Pazzini made a wonderful impact as a substitute and I compliment him. We are relaxed, we know what we can do and take it one game at a time."
There has been speculation over the future of Massimiliano Allegri, but Balotelli put his support firmly behind the Coach.
"Allegri is a great manager and I hope he will stay here for a long time to come. I think we can get the Champions League place, even if you never know in football."
However, the Italian international was yet again booked for dissent.
"It's not normal to get kicked so many times and then getting booked the first time I say anything at all. It's impossible."
He also sent his well wishes to Inter Milan skipper Javier Zannettti, who suffered a major achilles injuty on Sunday.
"It is a great honour, as this award puts more responsibility on me and I will carry it forward. I'd like to wish Javier Zanetti a speedy recovery, because he is a great man and a champion."
