The Rossoneri came out surprise 2-0 winners against the Catalan giants at the San Siro and will face them again on March 12.

Before that, they do have two important league fixtures against Lazio and Genoa. Milan will be hoping to win both games in their bid to finish in the top three and secure qualification to the Champions League for the coming season.

Galliani insisted that their domestic goals remains just as important as potentially knocking out one of the top sides of Europe. Currently, Lazio are in third place and occupy the final Champions League qualification berth.

"We cannot think about Barcelona now as we have two games to win first against Lazio and Genoa," Galliani told the official Milan website.

"The next round of games will be an important one. It's first against second as well as third against fourth. Except for Fiorentina, they're all in action.

"There are many teams going for third: Us, Lazio, Inter, Fiorentina, Catania, Roma. Six teams for third. It's a league within a league."

Milan face stern competition from city rivals Inter Milan who are a point behind them in the standings.
