After inspecting the condition of the pitch on Saturday, officials from both clubs and the Lega ruled the match, originally scheduled for 1400 BST on Sunday, will now kick off at 1900 BST on Tuesday, February 26.
A heavy band of snow has affected matches across the Emilia-Romagna region this weekend, with Serie B games at Cesena and Modena also being called off.
There are now concerns that Sunday's meeting between Parma and Catania at the Stadio Ennio Tardini could be affected by the weather.
Snow affected Parma's midweek training programme at Coverciano but head coach Roberto Donadoni feels Sunday's game is likely to go ahead.
He told fcparma.com: "We are thinking about playing the game. We'll assess the conditions tonight [Saturday] and tomorrow [Sunday].
"But at the moment I don't see any problems and we are preparing to play."
