Jovetic has established himself as an integral part of the Fiorentina setup in recent times, and his eye-catching performances for the Viola have put him on the radar of several top clubs, including the likes of Manchester City, Chelsea and Juventus.
The 23-year-old has helped the Viola make a blistering start to the season; Fiorentina are currently fourth in the Serie A, and many are already tipping them as the dark horses to win the league title this season.
Unsurprisingly, Fiorentina are hoping to keep Jovetic with them throughout the season, and they will be buoyed by Jovetic's insistence that he had no plans to move away from the club.
"I am fine here," Jovetic told Rai Sport.
"I will not go. I have no thoughts about leaving, even if in life you never know what might happen."
The Montenagrin also reflected on the strong start his team had made this season and hinted that the Viola could be title contenders in the near future.
"The main strength of this team is the unity of the group," Jovetic added.
"We are all very close. I promise the fans that we will fight to finish in the Champions League places.
"We are equipped to do so, but there are a lot of teams [that can challenge for third]. We will do our best though.
"It is too soon to speak about the Scudetto, but in the future, with the right purchases, we think that is a realistic goal."
Fiorentina will undoubtedly look to Jovetic to inspire them once again when they take on Roma in their next Serie A fixture.
