Gargano completed a loan move from Napoli earlier in the month and went straight into the first team to make his debut last weekend in the 3-0 win over Pescara.
The Uruguay international is positive about his move to the Nerazzurri, claiming that they can match Juventus, who went unbeaten on the way to the Sier A title last seaosn.
"I think we're at the same level as Juventus, perhaps higher, and they are the reigning Italian champions," he claimed.
"I think we can vie for all three competitions."
Gargano revealed that he has settled into life at Inter well and is especially pleased to link up with manager Andrea Stramaccioni.
"I'll play where the coach wants me to play," he vowed. "He really wanted me at this club and I want to demonstrate that I know how to play for a team like Inter."
"All of my new team-mates have been splendid, they've all welcomed me. I've been made to feel at home, especially by the South Americans."
Inter Milan will face Vaslui on Wednesday evening in the Champions League playoff round.
