After impressing in Montpellier's shocking Ligue 1 win last season, Yang-Mbiwa found himself on the radar of several European giants. However, only AC Milan have admitted to making a bid for the defender.
While Yang-Mbiwa revealed discussions were still on-going between Montpellier and the Rossoneri, he admitted he would jump at the chance to move to the San Siro.
"You cannot say no to Milan. Until now, there has been no agreement and I am at Montpellier," Yang-Mbiwa stated to Telefoot.
"But we do not know what will happen in the last days of the transfer period. We will have to stay focused."
The Frenchman, who missed out on his country's Euro 2012 squad due to injury, was also quietly confident that a transfer would take place in due time.
"If the transfer is not for this year, it will be for next year," Yang-Mbiwa shared.
