Premier League sides Arsenal and Liverpool have been lining up outside the door of the Santiago Bernabeu ever since Real Madrid manager Jose Mourinho revealed his willingness to part company with Sahin.
Sources in Spain indicate that the English duo have begun discussions with Los Blancos officials, and Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers has made full use of his friendship with Mourinho to edge the Reds ahead of Arsene Wenger's team for the midfielder's signature.
However, the Daily Mail reports that AC Milan have now indicated a late interest in Sahin. The Serie A side has seen their midfield ranks depleted significantly during the summer by the departures of Clarence Seedorf and Mark van Bommel. As such, the Rossoneri are desperate to sign some quality players to shine in the centre of the park for them, as they attempt to wrest back the league title from rivals Juventus.
Sahin signed for Real from Borussia Dortmund last season, but has seen his playing opportunities limited due to Mourinho's preference toward Xabi Alonso and Sami Khedira. The Turkish international was offered as part of an exchange deal for Tottenham's Luka Modric, but Spurs chairman Daniel Levy rejected Real's offer.
